The Associate Director, Scientific Meeting Strategy, will collaborate closely with USMA medical directors, medical science liaisons (MSLs), global medical affairs directors, scientific communications, commercial congress leads, and external agency partners to ensure the successful execution of congress planning events, medical booth content, and stakeholder engagements at scientific meetings. This individual will also work with cross-functional regulatory, healthcare compliance, legal, medical information, and other colleagues as appropriate to ensure all activities are compliant and within company policies.
• Lead scientific and strategic discussions to set scientific congress strategy for USMA oncology to support business priorities • Manage overall scientific meeting planning for the US, including identification of congresses to support a medical booth and/or stakeholder engagements • Collaborate closely with global medical affairs directors to align on medical booth content, design, and logistics
• Drive review and approval of medical booth content for congresses in the US
• Coordinate stakeholder engagements in close partnership with external agencies/vendors, USMA team members, and global medical affairs • Drive conference project management in partnership with USMA and US commercial congress leads • Ensure proper execution and communication of pre-conference planning and post-conference debrief meetings • Provide onsite leadership and support at various congresses • Manages budget and reconciliations as appropriate • Present to senior management and business partners congress planning, details, metrics, and benchmarking • Serve as a subject matter expert on oncology congresses • Drive innovation and sharing of best practice across congresses • Foster strong relationships with internal, cross-functional stakeholders and external vendor partners involved in scientific meeting congress activities

Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of related work experience
Master’s Degree with 8 years of related work experience
Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) with 4 years of related work experience
Demonstrated project management skills to handle a high volume of work under demanding deadlines
Attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, conflict management and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel up to 25% domestically
Ability to navigate a highly matrixed environment
